Mr. Gray has been involved in civil trial litigation and workers' compensation litigation since 1984 when certified in the State of
Oklahoma as a licensed legal intern, and, from 1985 to present, as a licensed attorney in the State of Florida. Since 1985 he has
handled primarily workers' compensation and civil cases on behalf of injured parties.
In 1995, Robert C. Gray was lead trial counsel in Powell vs. Allstate Insurance Company, 652 So. 2d 354 (Fla. 1995). This very substantial Florida Supreme Court case resulted in national attention for Mr. Gray including live interviews on the CBS Morning Show and several radio shows; extensive coverage on the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather; multiple local television shows; and national print media coverage. This case has been repeatedly cited in subsequent similar cases and is a frequent topic at Continuing Legal Education seminars.
